    I struggle with how exactly ask something like “why dust is a problem for you” It sounds a bit weird when professional cleaner asking such question. No matter what words I use to dig deeper into their “pain” conversation become weird and clients giving me a strange look. I successfully use “how it made you feel.” Phrase I have learnt from Mike.     Probably the most important thing I learnt from Mike is “your believes” and “reality” is two different things. Just like many others I believed that my clients will quit if I start sending employees instead of myself. Guess what? Nope. Only a few left. I now have 6 employees and doubled revenue. That episode about wrong believes on Spotify changed my life. Ladies, for gods sake listen and do what this guy say. Just do everything he says and you WILL succeed.

    I am confused! she clearly says “they don’t drive their own cars” they drive her company car and everyone pitches in for gas, why is the driver just getting reimbursed if there all pitching in? And How do you track who pitched in what on what day? Also how are her contractor using company vehicle, if there a contractor? Is that even possible ?

    No but I definitely get a lot of owner benifit and it makes me self conscious that I’m not marking 30% profit meanwhile I’m writing off my rent because I live above the business all my gas vehicle expenses I’m getting new truck and tools a nice wardrobe. I was debating on if I got write off getting my teeth fixed as having a healthy smile is crucial to business

    Very helpful! thank you! I have a potential customer that is directly told me if I can beat the price then he'll switch. Other than the price he is happy with the existing cleaners. I gave him price $10 less, and now he says he might not even consider the switch because of only $10 difference. (from $160 to $150 per clean). How to deal with type of customers? Ran away? Get them no matter what? I am new in cleaning business.

    Mike saying the truth. To be successful you have to change your believes FIRST. I used to believe that no one wants to work part time, clients will drop me if I send someone else, etc. But Mike said it is not true and I just have a mental block. Guess what? He was right!     Recognizing people’s patterns through the first phone Call Or on email is key to know how to interact with them And if to accept the job , I also ask them What their look. For in a cleaning service And what experience they had with past cleaning lady’s , If they bad mouth alll cleaners and they say they all did a horrible job. That might be a sign. That the problem is not the cleaner
